COVID-19 UPDATE TO DELIVERY PROTOCOLS

Given the recent developments surrounding the spread of COVID-19, the Kelilabee Flower Company wants to assure you that we are taking every step possible to ensure the health and safety of our clients, employees, and partners.

We are closely monitoring the situation and are adhering to all CDC protocols and guidelines. At our studio, we are regularly sanitizing all work stations, shared spaces, and products.

We have also updated the following delivery protocols to further ensure the safety and well being of our clients and drivers:

  • All drivers are wearing gloves when delivering floral gifts.
  • Upon delivery our drivers will leave floral gifts in a safe spot on the porch, ring the bell or knock on the door, and then step back 6’ and wait for the recipient to answer.
  • If no one is at home our drivers will leave floral gifts in a safe place on the porch, call and text the recipient letting them know, as well as, call the sender to let them know. We will also email the sender at the end of the day to informing them their floral gift was delivered.
  • We have temporarily suspended leaving floral gifts with neighbors.

If you would prefer we follow a different protocol please let us know and would be happy to accommodate your request.

Flowers have always been a source of comfort during difficult times and we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing industry and for the opportunity to be of service to our wonderful clients!

COMPLIMENTARY LOCAL DELIVERY

  • We offer complementary local delivery to select zip codes within 15 miles of our Ballantyne location on orders $75.00 & above (Our local delivery zip codes are listed below).
  • Business deliveries are guaranteed to arrive by 4:30 pm
  • Residential & Hospital deliveries are guaranteed to arrive by 7:00 pm
  • Funeral orders placed at least one day in advance are guaranteed to arrive a minimum of one hour prior to service start time. Rush delivery fees may apply to funeral orders placed the same day of the service. If you would like to place a same day funeral order please call us at 704.900.8949 and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.

* On Valentine's Day and Mother's Day we operate extended Complementary Delivery hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm going to a business and 8:00 am and 8:00 pm going to a residence.

 * We are not able to accommodate specific time of delivery requests with our Complementary Service. We do however offer additional Express, Afternoon and Rush delivery options for additional fees. Please see "ADDITIONAL DELIVERY OPTIONS" below for details.

EXTENDED DELIVERY - A $15.00 delivery fee will apply to all orders beyond 15 miles of our Ballantyne location.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY OPTIONS AVAILABLE ON ORDERS $75.00 & ABOVE.

  • EXPRESS DELIVERY $15.00 - Guaranteed to arrive by 1:00 pm. Not available on Same Day Delivery Orders. 
  • AFTERNOON DELIVERY $15.00 - Guaranteed to arrive between 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • RUSH DELIVERY $25.00 - Guaranteed to arrive within 3 hours. If a rush order is placed after our normal business hours it will deliver within three hours of regular store opening.

Online Orders - To ensure enough time for us to receive and process same day delivery requests on online orders please place them no later than 2:00 pm on the day you are requesting delivery. For same day service on orders being placed after 2:00 pm please call us at 704.900.8949 or toll free at 855.201.5402 and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Weekend Delivery Policy - Same day deliveries are available on Saturday if ordered by 1 pm. Our Saturday local delivery service runs between 10:00 am-7:00 pm. We are closed on Sunday.

Funeral Homes - You do not need to know the exact address of a specific funeral home, just the name of the funeral home and the name of the deceased. As part of our service we will contact the funeral home you have specified to verify the exact address and the time of viewing and/or service, and to make arrangements for the flower delivery. If you have selected a delivery date that is before the actual viewing, we will deliver to the viewing per the funeral home instructions. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service, we will call to let you know quickly so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family.

High Schools - High schools do not accept deliveries for students. Please send administrator and teacher gifts to the high school and any student orders to their residence.

If No One Is Home - Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as, on their doorstep (weather permitting) or with a neighbor. We will call the recipient directly to inform them of where we have delivered their flowers. If neither of these options are deemed appropriate we will leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for a convenient delivery.

Incorrect Addresses - If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $10 address correction fee. The Kelilabee Flower Company is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

Canceling an Order -Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of florist delivered products we are unable to cancel or change orders already processed, en route or delivered. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please call 704.900.8949 or toll free 855.201.5402.

PO Boxes - We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. addresses.

Card Messages - The message that you write in the Card Message field, or phone in to us, is the only message that is sent with the gift. We do not include any billing information with your order.
